So first of all: ECE 318i was never available as a coupe, so it's either a 316i, a 318is. Second: 5 owners is not bad by itself, but it increases the chances that one of these was an asshole. Get an E46 or E90, use that as your hs/college car, learn how BMWs (and cars in general) work while you’re at it, then get an E30/E36 if you want once you’re making good money.
