When you're in the tunnels. Here's a tip, look at the map your copy of gta came with. The huge paper map. In the corner of one of the sides it lays out the entire subway system and the 10 or so entry stations. The easiest is near the airport. Check it out and enjoy!

After looking at the vast mountain ranges and the fact that mountains seem to stem at least 2 sides of the city, I'd bet that rather than being an "Island" this time we're going to hit an invisible wall rather than all 4 sides of the map being water. There might just be some parts too steep to climb/drive up and flying
