Itā€™s worth it if you havenā€™t previously experienced warcraft III. If you already own Warcraft 3 from buying it before Reforged, then itā€™s not especially worth it, as you donā€™t need to buy it to play anything in the game. Reforged just gets you different graphics, some hero skins and more screen visibility.
Look at any Warcraft III screenshot and it is immediately clear exactly what units are present, how many of them they are, and exactly what is happening in the battle. In Reforged even in itā€™s early that it seems way more cluttered and there is way less character to every unit. The Verdict. Warcraft 3 is still probably my favorite Warcraft game of all time, and one of my favorite fantasy stories in any video game. The visual update Reforged brings to all its beloved and behated characters is all the reason I needed to want to experience it again. Game is much much better than at release, it's just not blizzard that has made the major improvements. The caveat to the game being better is that you install W3C. It's well integrated into the game client and gives you the best ladder and melee features wc3 has ever had.
